Fees, Consultation & Course Policy

This Fees, Consultation & Course Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments made to Lateral Aviation (“Lateral Aviation”, “we”, “us”, “our”) for consultation services, training programs, courses, and educational offerings.

By making any payment, the user (“you”, “your”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.

1. Nature of Services

Lateral Aviation provides:

  • Paid aviation career consultations

  • Pilot ground classes (CPL / ATPL theory)

  • DGCA exam preparation and academic training

  • Aviation education and mentoring

All services are educational and advisory in nature only.

2. Consultation Fees & Scope

2.1 Consultation Fee

  • Consultation Fee: ₹499

  • The fee includes responses to up to two (2) questions only

2.2 Additional Questions

  • Any questions beyond the first two will be charged at ₹99 per additional question

  • Additional charges must be paid before such questions are addressed

2.3 Consultation Format

Consultations may be conducted via:

  • Phone call

  • Video call

  • WhatsApp or written response

The format, duration, and structure are determined solely by Lateral Aviation.

3. Course Fees & Training Programs

3.1 Course Enrollment

  • Course fees are communicated clearly prior to enrollment

  • Payment of course fees confirms enrollment and acceptance of all applicable policies

3.2 Access to Course Content

Once any of the following occurs:

  • Course commencement

  • Access to recorded sessions

  • Participation in live classes

  • Sharing of study material

➡️ The course shall be deemed commenced, and no refund shall be applicable

4. No Refund Policy (Consultation & Courses)

4.1 Consultation Fees

  • Consultation fees are charged for professional time and expertise

  • All consultation fees are strictly non-refundable, including cases of:

    • Change of mind

    • Missed or unattended consultation

    • Dissatisfaction with advice

    • Delayed response by the user

4.2 Course Fees

  • Course fees are non-refundable once the course has commenced or access has been granted

  • Refunds will not be provided due to:

    • Exam results

    • Personal expectations

    • Change in career decision

    • Regulatory or airline outcomes

5. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • Lateral Aviation cancels a consultation or course

  • Services cannot be delivered due to reasons solely attributable to Lateral Aviation

In such cases:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time may take 7–10 working days

6. Payment Errors & Duplicate Transactions

In the event of:

  • Duplicate payments

  • Technical payment errors

Users must notify Lateral Aviation within 48 hours of the transaction.
Verified cases will be refunded after necessary checks.

7. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Lateral Aviation does not guarantee:

  • DGCA exam results

  • Issuance of licences or ratings

  • Airline selection or employment

  • Specific timelines or success outcomes

All outcomes depend on:

  • Regulatory authorities

  • Individual effort

  • External factors beyond Lateral Aviation’s control

8. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Clearly understand the scope of services before payment

  • Take independent decisions based on guidance provided

Advice is offered on a best-effort basis and does not constitute binding recommendations.

9. Professional Conduct

Users are expected to maintain respectful communication.
Lateral Aviation reserves the right to:

  • Terminate consultations or course access in case of misconduct

  • Deny further services without refund if policies are violated

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Lateral Aviation shall not be liable for direct or indirect losses

  • This includes academic, career, financial, or opportunity-related losses

Use of services is entirely at the user’s own discretion and risk.

11. Modification of Policy

Lateral Aviation reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time without prior notice.
Revised versions shall be effective immediately upon publication on the website.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
